An information workshop was conducted on 13 August 2007 to provide an update on the NSW Cancer Trials Network. Additionally, the new process for the ethical review of clinical trials in NSW, and the Cancer Institute NSW Clinical Research Ethics Committee was presented. Additional information workshops for Nurses and Data Managers will be conducted on a regular basis.
A training and education program for Cancer Trials Nurses and Data Managers will be provided on an annual basis. This will be conducted jointly by the Cancer Institute NSW and The Cancer Council NSW. The training for 2007 will be held at the end of October.
