Clinical Cancer Research Support
The Clinical Cancer Research Support Grant has been developed to support the establishment of individual Area Health Service (AHS) Networks to facilitate the implementation of the NSW Cancer Trials Network.
The Clinical Cancer Research Support Grant is in direct response to the changing Ethics and Governance environment for the conduct of clinical research within NSW.
The Clinical Research Regulatory Affairs Officer positions have responsibility for the streamlining of the governance processes for each AHS Network to reduce duplication and increase efficiencies in the progress of clinical trials through Ethics and Institutional requirements.
The appointment of a Clinical Research Regulatory Affairs Officer for each AHS will provide a central point for the co-ordination of ethics documentation and governance issues for cancer clinical trials in each Area.
