Information for Patients, Carers and Families

Finding out you have cancer changes everything. Lives are often turned upside down with many people feeling frightened and sad at the same time. Thankfully, advances in the early detection and treatment of cancer means more and more people are living with cancer than ever before. That's why making sure everyone has the best supportive care and information means looking after the person as well as the illness.

Using the Internet

NSWOG Neuro-Oncology Factsheets

Follow the links to a comprehensive suite of resources for brain tumour patients and their families and carers. The resources include factsheets on everything from Anger Management to Memory loss and give detailed descriptions, real-life case studies, key facts and strategies. The factsheets were developed by the Cancer Institute NSW NSWOG Neuro-Oncology.
