Bronchoscopy Campaign

Bronchoscopy Campaign

The Bronchoscopy Campaign aims to encourage smokers to quit by focusing on a well-established health consequence of smoking – lung cancer.  It delivers new information to smokers by showing what lung cancer sounds and looks like.

The whistling or wheezing noise is the sound of a lung tumour almost completely blocking an airway.  Lung tumours that are found at this late stage are often too late to operate.

Quit smoking support is available through the NSW Quitline (13 7848).
