Anthony Campaign

The Anthony Campaign was developed in 2004 by the Department of Health United Kingdom. At the time of production, Anthony had been diagnosed with throat and lung cancer. He was in hospital following a laryngectomy operation to remove his voicebox. Anthony communicates his current situation and future plans, including seeing his eldest daughter. Anthony passed away 10 days after filming the advertisement.He never got to see his daughter. Smokers are reminded that quit smoking support is available through the NSW Quitline (13 7848).
